Brief History

Deep Sea Genomic is a project generated thanks to participating researchers from the Gulf of Mexico Research Consortium (CIGOM), which was formed in 2015 following the Macondo well oil spill.

We offer bioremediation services for contaminated water and soil, as well as the production of compounds of industrial interest, such as biosurfactants, using a battery of microorganisms isolated from the Gulf of Mexico.

WE ARE UNIQUE

Science Without Equivalence

DSG is a unique company. We have conducted 10 years of frontier research on marine bacteria, integrating microbiology, metagenomics, bioinformatics, bioengineering, and marine robotics to solve marine and terrestrial environmental pollution problems.

Unlike other technologies, we use a novel approach with "a la carte" bacterial consortia that optimize specific bioremediation for each site, avoiding inefficient generic solutions.
